1780s Portrait Dress Pattern Error Alert!
This has to be a new record for longest “miss” of two mistakes in a pattern, but, somehow, two pattern testers and yours truly overlooked these 19 years ago and haven’t caught them in all this time!
First, the Polonaise Bodice Front says “Cut 1” and “Cut 1 of Lining.” However, you definitely have to cut two bodice fronts, just as is noted on the straight bodice front!

That definitely should have said CUT 2!!
The second error is on the yardage chart, where the centimeter measurements were swapped for sizes 12 and 14:
Yep, that should be 16.25 under the 12 and 16.5 under the 14!
Thank you to intrepid spotter Liza, who reached out to me today. I have no idea how no one has caught these in the nearly 20 years since I published this pattern, but there you have it.
